Vincent M. Wales was raised in the small town of Brockway, Pennsylvania, where he frequently complained about the weather. Since then, he has lived near Philadelphia; in Utah; and in Sacramento, California, complaining about the weather in each location.
He has worn many hats, including writing instructor, suicide prevention crisis counselor, Big Brother, freethought activist and essayist, mental health podcast host, and award-winning novelist.
He currently lives on the northern coast of Humboldt County, California, where he finally has no complaints about the weather.
